Written by Devin Matthews and Luc Campanella, Fool’s Paradise gives the album a kick from the get go. The band hasn’t touched the track since the original recording, and wouldn’t want to change a thing about it. Fool’s Paradise starts the album off with a upbeat happy song which is appropriate for the opening song of the album “Splash!”
Written by Devin Matthews and Luc Campanella, Metallic Blue starts off with a mellow groove and gradually builds to the catchy chorus. The song instantly became one of the bands' favorites and was played live for the first time just a few days after being written.
Written by Evan Denisiu, Fourever is an all time favorite with an overall powerful statement to make. Although lengthy, every second is worth it and creates a song that you would not want to miss.
Written by Devin Matthews, We Could Fly is a late night groove with a different sound from a lot of the rest of the album due to the use of different keyboard/synth sounds and textures bringing a nice laid back feeling to the album.
Written by Evan Denisiu, Last Night is one of the bands oldest songs dating back to the original version on Evans computer which is very different from that on the album. After months and months of work, Last Night ended up a dream pop song very fitting to the album.
Written by Devin Matthews, Evan Denisiu, and Luc Campanella, Meet Me at the Corner is about a girl who moves to England leaving an important relationship behind. The song has a prominent bass line played by Evan Denisiu and a very deep guitar solo played by Luc Campanella to end it.
Written by Devin Matthews and Luc Campanella, Miss Summer Moonlight was one of the first songs to be recorded in the summer of 2017. When Devin and Luc recorded it Evan was in New York, so they surprised him with a complete song which hasn’t been touched since the original recording except for the vocals which Evan and Devin did together when Evan got back.
Written by Devin Matthews and Evan Denisiu, Closed My Eyes is a slower song with a sad, deep back story contrasting the rest of the dreamy pop album. Originally recorded with one low vocal track, it is the first song recorded by the band with the vocal concept of Devin singing low and Evan singing high together which led to many songs with the same technique.
Written by Devin Matthews and Luc Campanella, Stay Young is a song about enjoying life while you have it. As a group of young musicians, Mt. Pool is also a group of best friends who love to mess around, maybe a little too much, and are very proud of that. Everyone who knows the band knows that the four young men always are having fun sometimes at the cost of a little trouble, but as said in the song, “Trouble lasts for the moment, memories last for life”. The song is up in tempo and is a great song to lead into the last tune, “Good Morning”.
Written by Devin Matthews, Luc Campanella, and Evan Denisiu, Good Morning closes the album with a plot twist: The whole album was a dream, now the sun is up, and so are you, GOOD MORNING! Now go enjoy your day :)

We Could Fly
Last Night
Meet Me at the Corner
Miss Summer Moonlight
Closed My Eyes
Stay Young
Good Morning
It’s you and I, all alone
Your kiss was nothing but imagination
I’m in a fantasy world of awe
In my sleeping hallucination
Sounds mix with colors cause it’s in my mind
Confusion fills the clouds, up in the sky
We can dream of anything whenever we like
But when we wake what will we find
We’re in a fool’s paradise
A fool’s paradise
We’re in a fool’s paradise
In a fool’s paradise
I woke up this morning and I ran out the door
I lied down on the concrete floor
To have a dream that I’ve had before
To see what my mind, had in store
I open my eyes and I look down the street
I realize I’m in reality
That’s not the place that I wanna be
So I close my eyes and fall back asleep
Sounds mix with colors cause it’s in my mind
Confusion fills the clouds, up in the sky
We can dream of anything whenever we like
But when we wake what will we find
We’re in a fool’s paradise
A fool’s paradise
We’re in a fool’s paradise
In a fool’s paradise
Lyrics by Devin Matthews
Music by Luc Campanella and Devin Matthews
People can fall in love in a moment
If the stars align just right
You can swim through a thousand oceans
It can happen in a night
The way your eyes sparkled over the city
Oh, it made me fly
And I fell in love in the very moment
Cause the stars aligned
And I really don’t wanna go
I wanna stay for our light show
I want you to know
That I love you
Metallic Blue, Blue
Metallic Blue, Blue
It might not be the same for everybody
It sure is new to me
Holding you tight, in my arms
Is where I wanna be
It’s a timeless feeling that will last forever
The world feels like it’s ours
When your laying down, under the clouds
And looking at the stars
And I really don’t wanna go
I wanna stay for our light show
I want you to know
That I love you
Metallic Blue, Blue
Metallic Blue, Blue

What would you say if today
Everything changed
What would you say
If the flowers were arranged
In red, green and gray
So just follow me, can’t you see
The lines in-between, what we believe
Somewhere along the lines, our paths crossed for the last time
(Why don’t we pretend it’s not the end)
Somewhere out in time, will you still say
Fourever, Fourever
What would you say if we stayed
nothing changed, forever the same
our love remains, untainted with paint stains
And you’ve been on and off my mind your one of a kind
Will you take my hand and be there when we land
When we run away cause we’re here to stay
Fourever, Fourever
So just follow me, can’t you see
The lines in-between, what we believe
Somewhere along the lines, our paths crossed for the last time
(Why don’t we pretend it’s not the end)
Somewhere out in time, will you still say
Fourever, Fourever
I wanna be your best friend, not something less than
I wanna curve the lines, I wanna break the laws
Learn something new, I wanna be with you
Fourever, Fourever
Somewhere along the lines, our paths crossed for the last time
(Why don’t we pretend it’s not the end)
Somewhere out in time, will you still say
Fourever, Fourever
Lyrics and Music by Evan Denisiu
The moon’s reflection is in your eyes, I used to watch it in the sky
I believe that we could fly, I believe in you and I, you and I, you and I, you and I
Everything reminds me of you
The bright sky when it’s shining blue
Cloudy out and the sky is grey
Dream of you every single day
And when it’s dark and late at night
Golden last bits of light
You're always on my mind
I know that you are mine
I won’t let you go, love, I won’t let you go
There’s one thing I know, I will hold you close
In the night we could fly, wherever we like nothing's in our way
I can see it in your eyes, that you are not afraid
We can make it to the moon or just stay in my room
And talk, and talk, and talk the night away
My heart skips a beat when I see you, I know you feel the same way too
I believe that we will fly, I believe in you and I
I won’t let you go, love, I won’t let you go
There’s one thing I know, I will hold you close
In the night we could fly, wherever we like, nothing's in our way
I can see it in your eyes, that you are not afraid
We can make it to the moon, or just stay in my room
And talk, and talk, and talk the night away
So you tell me you wanna fly, so come with me and give it a try
No need for wings to reach the sky, just look up and close your eyes
Here we go, up and away, take off to our favorite place
It’s ours forever and all of time, we’ll never leave
I won’t let you go, love, I won’t let you go
There’s one thing I know, I will hold you close
In the night we could fly, wherever we like nothings in our way
I can see it in your eyes, that you are not afraid
We can make it to the moon or just stay in my room
And talk, and talk, and talk the night away
Lyrics and Music by Devin Matthews
You make me smile, can I stay for a while
I’ll try my hardest not to speak as I'm listening to you
On the roof and I’m wondering just what to do
Yet I know it’s not possible to make a wrong move
Bob your head as we listen to your groove
And review, I’m smiling, because of you and what we did
Last night, I can’t describe it
Inscriptable and exciting
Last night was what we needed
Hope you’re satisfied without me leaving
Cause I know I don’t want to, scoot over and give me some room
And we’ll talk, and then we’ll walk, wherever we want to
I had a restless night
Thinking how I don’t wanna fight
The feelings that I have for you and what we ignited
You look at me yet I’m shutting my eyelids
Last night, I can’t describe it
Inscriptable and exciting
Last night was what we needed
Hope you’re satisfied without me leaving
Cause I know I don’t want to, scoot over and give me some room
And we’ll talk, and then we’ll walk, wherever we want to
To, wherever we want to, this one’s for you
And whatever you wanna do with it
Take it was your own, I feel at home, when I’m with you
Last night, I can’t describe it
Inscriptable and exciting
Last night was what we needed
Hope you’re satisfied without me leaving
Cause I know I don’t want to, scoot over and give me some room
And we’ll talk, and then we’ll walk, wherever we want to
Lyrics and Music by Evan Denisiu
Cute as hell and 16
Now your having breakfast with the Queen
Things changed since you’ve gone away
Sitting in Ruby's Cafe
Waiting for the day
That you come running back to me
So go ahead and run
You're all I wanna see
So just meet me at the corner, under the city lights
Vivid visions, and pretty sights
Just meet me at the corner
Where all our thoughts and dreams are just waiting, fading
Sweet and fine but you're not with me
Standing on the corner where we used to meet
Walking lonely on our old street
Visions of you past Ruby's
Without you the place isn’t the same
I can’t sit at the table with our fork-carved names
I know you’ll run back to me someday
So go ahead and run
You're all I wanna see
So just meet me at the corner, under the city lights
Vivid visions, and pretty sights
Just meet me at the corner
Where all our thoughts and dreams are just waiting, fading
Lyrics by Evan Denisiu and Devin Matthews
Music by Luc Campanella, Evan Denisiu, and Devin Matthews
The more and more I’m with you, the more and more I fall
The more and more I see you, the more and more I stall
Stall due to fear, a simple defense
Not to let you hear and cause any offense
But the more and more I’m with you, the more and more I know
That the more and more I’m with you, the more my love will grow
Miss Summer Moonlight
Won’t you come with me
Let things happen
Going slowly
Come with me, see what there is to see
Let me show you, what we could be
In your cool heat of summer night
Everything is going right
Miss Summer Moonlight, Summer Moon
Please come with me, please come with me
And I don’t care what the people think, or what they have to say
Cause the more and more we sink, the more and more I pray
Pray that I’ll see you, and pray that you’ll be mine
The little things that we do could last for all of time
Restriction lays ahead so I can’t admit my feelings
Leaving me to dead, thoughts that are concealing
And although we just met, I feel our hearts connect
Do you feel it too? That’s the answer I wish I knew
That’s the question that I wanna ask you
Miss Summer Moonlight
Won’t you come with me
Let things happen
Going slowly
Come with me, see what there is to see
Let me show you, what we could be
In your cool heat of summer night
Everything is going right
Miss Summer Moonlight, Summer Moon
Please come with me, please come with me
Lyrics by Devin Matthews

Lie next to me and close your eyes
It’s so crazy the way time flies
It seems like only yesterday
That I let you slip away
And as you watch me change
I let you walk away
So as I’m lying next to you
I wonder how I never knew
I closed my eyes and now your gone
I let you go and I was wrong
I closed my eyes as it went on
But now it’s done and I’ll be strong
I closed my eyes but watched you sway
I let you go, in my dreams you’ll stay
I closed my eyes and you ran away
I won’t see you, in the day
The blue day goes as black night creeps
I get to see you in my sleep
I brush my teeth and rush to bed
Can’t wait for you to be in my head
I lie down as you come back
Happens suddenly like a heart attack
Then I’m happy as can be
And you're lying down right next to me
I closed my eyes and now your gone
I let you go and I was wrong
I closed my eyes as it went on
But now it’s done and I’ll be strong
I closed my eyes but watched you sway
I let you go, in my dreams you’ll stay
I closed my eyes and you ran away
I won’t see you, in the day
I closed my eyes, I closed my eyes, I closed my eyes, I closed my
I closed my eyes, I closed my eyes, I closed my eyes, I closed my
I closed my eyes, I closed my eyes, I closed my eyes, I closed my
I closed my eyes, I closed my eyes, I closed my eyes, I closed my eyes
Lyrics by Devin Matthews
Music by Evan Denisiu and Devin Matthews
It is what it is
We know what we did
It’s just that time of our lives
So let’s do it tonight
You can do it all day
You can sit back and wait
Rules were built to be bent
So let’s go hop that fence
Step into what you don’t know
Give it a try
Stay young so you don’t grow
Look into my eyes
Stay young, stay young
Yesterday’s gone tomorrow to come
So stay young
When it’s late what do you do
Go out or stay in your room
Cause I know if I was you
I would try something new
Trouble lasts for the moment
Memories last for life
Being young is a prize
You’ll feel so alive
Step into what you don’t know
Give it a try
Stay young so you don’t grow
Look into my eyes
Stay young, stay young
Yesterday’s gone tomorrow to come
So stay young

It’s a beautiful day in the greater Los Angeles area
Hi I’m Devin, I’m Dexter, I’m Luc, and I’m Evan
Good morning to you, sun is smiling sky is blue
There’s a bird outside and I’m in a good mood
As I get up out of bed, have a good song in my head
With a happy melody but I don’t know the tune
So as the day goes on with a smile
I walk out the door and go for miles
And I’m happy, and you should be too
I look to the sky and what do I see?
The clouds are laughing right at me
And I open my teeth and I give them a grin
Cause I’m okay
As I continue with my day
And the nightmares fade away
I can’t stop, no I can’t stop smiling
I have no worries in the world
Don’t do my hair, let it curl
As I walk down the street there’s new people to meet
I have nothing to do and there’s no place to be
I look to the sky and what do I see?
The clouds are laughing right at me
And I open my teeth and I give them a grin
Cause I’m okay
As I continue with my day
And the nightmares fade away
I can’t stop, no I can’t stop Smiling
